Lauren Degraaf

Born and raised in London, Ontario, Lauren studied Fine Art at Fanshawe College. Taking inspiration from the nature that surrounds her home, she uses light and shadow to capture different atmospheres, and aims to make common plants and animals look almost otherworldly. She uses pencil, watercolor, and pencil crayon, and enjoys employing reductive drawing techniques to achieve a hazy and dreamlike look. Lauren has a passion for children's books and especially enjoys stories about fairies, mushrooms, and witches.
