Evie Zhu

Evie is an illustrator inspired by her travels. She earned her MA in Illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Her artwork has been shortlisted for World Illustration Awards, and she is currently a PhD researcher at the University of Bologna in Italy. Evie’s curiosity, childlike imagination, and love of music all inspire her illustrations, which celebrate the wonder of life. She especially enjoys drawing animal friendships and whimsical narratives full of detail. Her hobbies include photography, food, handicrafts, hand lettering, travel, design, and reading. In her spare time, she loves talking to birds and having a meditation moment.
