August is a first generation Chinese-Canadian illustrator based in Alberta, Canada. Growing up, they discovered art as a reliable emotional outlet and continue to leverage that to this day. They love illustrating lively characters, diverse family dynamics, and scrappy, furry creatures. Human-animal interactions are a favorite! August's other interests include sleeping, being bad at video games and taking blurry pictures of local hares.
